6 Tips for you to become a scene girl:
- Build your self-confidence. Wherever you are, there will always be criticisms because it is impossible to please everybody. Accept that you are pretty enough and learn to accept your weaknesses. It is also essential that you know your needs and wants. Stand out in the public and be confident. On the other hand, never get overconfident. Just stand just on the right balance, not appearing as a jerk nor let other people walk over you.
- Be polite. There are misconceptions that scene girls are nasty, horrible and very harsh to other people. You don’t need to follow this trend to become a scene girl. Exert effort instead, to be kind and helpful to others and try to understand that everyone has their own set of problems.
- Be active and known on social networking sites. Some of the main social networking sites are Facebook, Myspace, Friendster and Twitter. Accept all of the friend’s requests and the more sites you’re in, the more popularity you will be getting.
- Attend shows. These shows are very important for you to be exposed. Be updated of the latest shows especially when your favorite artists or bands are playing. Go to a concert or show at least twice a month. Share to your friends your encounters with them. Be very knowledgeable also with your favorite artist. Most of the scene girls had bought all of the CD’s of their favorite band and as well memorized all of their songs.
- Right and proper attitude is always essential. There are many styles of making you known. Some exhibited emo scenes, sozy-ness, anger, and a strange combination of these attitudes. Whatever your attitude style, make sure it works and never overdo it. There are scene girls that are very happy some times, and also entirely emo some of the times.
- Popularize new trends. Most of the scene girls became famous by popularizing new trends. But, make sure that you are familiar with the culture of the scene before starting a new trend. If you do not have any good reputation and had started a new trend, you will appear as a poser and people will start ignoring you.
